This is a US release for this two-year-old album from Adelaide's Truth Corroded. I have never heard anything by this band, and I am not terribly impressed with what I do hear. This is music that sacrifices almost everything for aggression, and thus verges pretty strongly into 'Core territory. Highly reminiscent of other borderline crap bands like Carnal Forge or Soilwork, Truth Corroded purvey flat, chunky guitars and a highly processed drum sound laid over with bellowing vocals infested with digital effects. The whole is a slick, sometimes enjoyably heavy, but ultimately shallow and meaningless sound that does nothing artistically besides yell in your face. Bereft.
