This is the debut full-length from this US band which seems to consist of one guy who is also a member of Black Funeral. I was expecting a bashing blast-fest and that is pretty much exactly what I got. Overall I find this disappointing. The recording is muffled without any underground grit, so it just sounds poorly done. The vocals are overproduced, the riffs are stale, and the songs are all similar-sounding blurbs about two minutes long. This sounds a lot like old Angelcorpse or Acheron, only the songwriting is not up to the drill. Underwhelming. |
