This is a US act who are mixing some drone sound into their Black Metal assault. The BM parts of this are generally enjoyable, with the kind of chaos and aggression that I expect from USBM when it is done well. The drone elements are predictably boring, and they could have been largely or entirely removed and we would not be missing anything. This band has a tendency to veer off into art/noise territory, letting the chaos overwhelm the compositions and devolving from music into a bunch of self-indulgent bullshit. This is extreme as fuck, but that doesn't mean it is really entertaining. |
