This started out interesting, but rapidly became painful and annoying. This is what happens when people don't take their antidepressants. At first I thought this was going to be all post-metal, then it started to get heavy and I was initially caught up in the sweeping melodies and expansive riffs. But after a while it becomes painfully obvious that this band is much more about noise than music, as they dedicate themselves to repetition and atonal, jagged melodies that go nowhere. Sometimes this band does produce some cool riffs, but they never produce a single song that does not wear out its welcome and become unbearable long before it is over. Avoid. |
