Second album from the band with the unintentionally funny name. I really think they should just change it to "Hate" and be done with it. Nothing wrong with having a band name in your own language, but you should be aware when it sounds funny in another language. Anyway, this is orthodox Black Metal with everything you expect: tremolo riffs, flat screechy vocals, and some blasting. Hat do have some riffs that I would classify as "kickass", but then they also have a tendency to repeat them until they are decidedly less awesome-sounding. The songwriting is deficient, as the songs start strong and then never go anywhere, just kind of repeating until they end. No build or resolution at all. This is listenable, but not really great. |
