Is the Aussie scene so bleak that a band this good is unsigned? I honestly don't know, but there is no reason on Earth why a band this quality should remain without a label. Mass Burial have an extremely generic name, and their sound is the epitome of somewhat blackened Death Metal, but they are cool. The guitar sound is big and angry, the vocals are a killer growl, and the songs are pure slices of Angelcorpse/Morbid Angel worship with a kick of Bolt Thrower. Pounding, vicious Death Metal with a bad attitude and an old-school approach without sounding dated. |
