This is the musical equivalent of simply trolling, as this is so half-assed and full of "fuck you for listening to our music" that it crosses over from misanthropy as an artistic stance into just being a dick. This was apparently whoever was hanging around the studio just going off with no songs, no rehearsals, nothing. That could be the setup for brilliance, but it sounds pretty much like you would expect: as if no thought went into it at all. This is a band that saw a movie, and then decided to rip out a studio demo based on how they felt after watching it. Congratulations guys, you saw a movie. Wow. |
