One of many, many bands named Desecration, these guys are a Spanish thrash metal act. Desecration play a style of thrash similar to the majority of the current crop (see Earache's roster.) Sounding very juvenile as a lot of these bands do, they also add death metal elements from time to time and they really stick out like a sore thumb. However when needed these guys can thrash, and there are some decent riffs here highlighted by a nice guitar tone, and the drum work is fast, snappy and there's even some good double pedal parts here and there. Their singer is really generic, sticking to the yap and yelp that crap thrash singers have been crutching on since the 80's. I must admit Lords of Misery leaves me pretty cold, and as I'm sure we all know by now thrash bands are seeping through cracks in the pavement all over the world, Desecration are in need of a kick up the backside if they want to fly in this particular style of metal. Avoid.
