"Faceless" would be a fairly good description of this, actually. Killface are not terrible, even if they are a little groovy for my taste. I don't think they suck, but their riffs are pretty much just rhythmic constructions with no melody or, you know, actual riffing. The low vocals are like LG Petrov and are decent, but the screeches are really awful. This has a nice, fat sound, with a big bottom end and a loose feel that dirties it up, but the songwriting is pretty boring. Not exactly bad, but not good either. |
