This is the fourth album from this Spanish band who I had never heard of before this. They say they are 'raw' Black Metal, but really this is pretty melodic. The guitar sound could be a bit meaner, but the recording is actually pretty good without being too modern. The riffs on this are quite good, and Daemonlord have a very trad metal riff sense that makes this more memorable than it might otherwise be. With the rather mellow, melodic riffs and the extremely raspy vocals, there is a definite Thy Serpent vibe going on here. I thought this would be completely boring, but I actually like it rather well.
