I'm always willing to give a new band a whirl, and especially melodic bands, as I get so much Death/Black stuff all the time, but this is pretty bad. Piel de Serpiente are a Spanish band, and they prove once again that Spanish Power Metal is pretty universally bad. What you get here is an album full of soggy melodies, poppy vocal hooks, and lackluster, sloppy playing. I found this entire album to be pretty irritating, and I bet you would too. Avoid. |
