This is the second EP from Canadian orthodoxy BM band Insidious Omen since they released their debut album back in 2006. This is very second-wave Black Metal, deeply imitative of such works as early Marduk or Enthroned. The production is primitive without sounding awful, the screeches are standard but not overbearing, and the long songs pack a lot of riffs but maintain a consistent theme and mood. There is nothing really great about this, but I like it. |
