This band has three albums out, but this is the first I have heard of them. Playing high speed Death/Black blasting with that certain dirty looseness Aussie bands can't seem to avoid, The Furor do it up pretty well. Fast, would be one word to describe this, and it's plain this band is not trying to break any boundaries here. They play fast, aggressive and brutal Death Metal with shrieking vocals and a lot of fast tremolo picking in the guitars. I wish I could say there was more to it than that, because this album is listenable and engaging, but it's just a little too spastic to really get in there and kick your ass. |
