I've had this album for months. I couldn't stand it back then no matter how much I listened to it, so I put it aside, you know, just in case it's just a matter of "not being into that" at the moment. Well, it's not any better now. This is pretty atrocious, sounding like a mess of metalcore and nu-metal with some wankering that one could relate to some of the weird Voivod stuff but just, you know, not good. The vocals are crappy screams for the most part, the music is just a barrage of barely coherent noise (when not downright incoherent.) There are few very short moments that hint that something good is about to happen, only to turn into more crap. The operative word is "crap". A band that should have remained buried. Bye. |
