This is certainly not as bad as I expected based on the cover art and album title. I was expecting some crappy brutal "gore-Death" that sounds like a mess with puke-y vocals. The vocals here are actually a mix of "standard" Death Metal growls, somewhat clean vocals, and some squeaky (annoying) vocals effects – tolerable for the most part. As far as the music goes, there's nothing particularly of note here. It's potent Death Metal that ranges from slow/heavy with OK solos all the way to a much faster, more or less brutal cacophony. Nothing you haven't heard before, and not good enough to make a special trip to the store. |
