Old-school Thrash is the order of the day here, no big surprise with a band name like that. This is fast, and has a lot of manic energy, but the riffs are pretty dull and there's not enough crunch. This is a band that lets the drums carry the speed - yes, one of those bands - while the guitars kind of mangle along. The vocals are ok, but they are almost completely tuneless and monotone. Again, we must remind people that even if your vocals consist of yelling, you have to be yelling notes or it sounds like shit, and the same note over and over just sounds flat and tedious, making your music less fun to listen to. A lot of aggression and energy here, sadly there is little songwriting and so they whole thing is kind of purposeless. |
