Davidian's Our Fear is Their Force has its Thrash roots firmly planted in the soil that gave rise to 80s bands like Sepultura, Kreator and Sodom. Vocals that range from harsh screams to Death growls bellow over pounding riffs in an unrelenting onslaught. The performances are sharp and meticulous yet still sound classic. There isn't much on Our Fear is Their Force that you haven't already heard and all the songs sort of blend together after a while. Songs like "Freedom of Choice" manage to stick out, due to some excellent lead work. Don't expect anything earth-shattering, but if Thrash Metal with harsh vocals is your thing, you'll want to check out Our Fear is Their Force. |
