Debut album for Greek Death/Thrash band Hordes of Decay. This is an energetic album with galloping riffs and rawthroated vocals that are almost in a blackened style. HoD make use of a pummeling drum attack to mask the fact that their riffs are not that great. This has a lot of speed and verve, and the recording is solid, but the songwriting is pretty damned generic, and there is nothing especially memorable or notable about it. Enjoyable but shallow.
