District Destruction is a decidedly Bay Area-sounding Thrash album from Germany's Mortal Infinity. The riffs are sharp and precise without being overly technical and they possess lots of angry snarl. The solos are perfectly executed and should appeal to guitar aficionados and non-players alike. The vocals are a generic howl that hovers between Black and Death with occasional forays into each style. They neither add nor detract much from the music. District Destruction is short on originality but tracks like "Wake of Devastation" and "District Destruction" should have the rank and file banging their heads. |
