This is a quick (just over 6 minutes) demo from up-and-coming Death Metal band Exile the Traitor from Glasgow, Scotland. The band has only been in existence since the end of 2011 and it shows in their songs, which sound much like any number of Melodic Death Metal bands. What Exile the Traitor has in their favor is some serious chops. The vocals are a potent low rumble and the guitars are technical and precise. Their playing in a talent contest won them a spot at 2012's Bloodstock festival, if that gives you some idea as to how good they are. It is hard to judge a band on two songs that are just over three minutes apiece, but it seems to me that Melodic Death Metal fans should probably keep Exile the Traitor on their radar screens. |
