Sinister have been putting out kickass Death Metal albums for like 20 years, and yet a depressing number of people don't even know who they are. Album number ten for this outfit is another blistering killer packed with the pounding Death Metal they always deliver. Despite being from the Netherlands, this band has little in common with the slower, more melodic crunch common to Scandinavian Death and much more to do with the faster, more technical American schools. The Carnage Ending is a hammering riff-fest of speedy, somewhat technical affair full of pleasures for the fan of the genre. That said, Sinister's Achilles Heel has always been that they don't have as much individual identity as they could, and as such the songwriting is pretty derivative of other bands. Still, all clone bands should rip this much ass.
