Armies of old school Death Metal acts are growing stronger and stronger all the time and there's no end in sight. Greek old-school Death Metal worshippers, War Possession, are determined to be a part of this ever-growing movement and, by all means, welcome.

To my ears, War Possession's 5-song EP lacks a bit of heart and soul. It doesn't push me away but it doesn't turn me on, either. No doubt, this is old school to the core but it still leaves me pretty cold, generating neither positive nor negative reactions in me. I mean no disrespect but, if Finland's Abhorrence are men, then War Possession are boys.

Through the Ages is a pretty forgettable release, all in all, despite a few good moments. Sorry guys.
