Enshadowed have been around since 1998, but they have not released an album in a decade, instead putting out a stream of splits and compilations just as if anyone cared about that. This is their third album, and it is solid but highly orthodox. This is rather deathy in places, but overall maintains a degree of blackitude just left of genuine crossover bands like Belphegor. This has a nice heavy guitar sound and the production is punchy and clear. This has balls, but there is nothing about it at all that stands out as different from a thousand other bands. This is played with intensity, but the songwriting is utterly pedestrian. |
