Here on Theater Of Time Indomite provide a slab of well done, if by-the-book progressive power metal. Everything you'd tend to expect from the genre is here in spades, although there are some elements that left me a little cold. Particularly the aggressive/growled vocals, which don't feel welcome, as well as some of the more sickly melodic segments that make me feel a little dirty. Fortunately there is an abundance of quality riffs and kick-ass solos ensuring Theater Of Time is at least worth checking out for those who enjoy the style. This should appeal to fans of Symphony X, Tellus Requiem and even Elvenking. |
