This is an album of thrashy Death Metal from this Danish band, and while it has good riffs, and some energy, it just doesn't really grab me. I think it just sounds too much like a bazillion other bands, and has nothing to really make it stand out. The riffing is a bit thrashier than usual, but also a bit punky in places, with a simplistic approach that I find boring after a few songs of it. The vocals are mixed too upfront and they are not that special, but they are covering up the music to no purpose in too many places. This is competent, but almost utterly generic. |
