I, Commander is some down and dirty, angry, buzzing Thrash from Memphis, Tennessee's Evil Army. It is very Germanic in style with double-kick drums and furious riffing. The vocals are gruff but understandable much like Schmier or Mille Petrozza. The production is straight out of the tape trading days; low and muddy with plastic sounding drums. This actually helps as Evil Army seem to really be shooting for that old school, underground sound. I, Commander is for fans of early Kreator, Destruction and all the unsung Thrash bands of bygone days.
