This is a decent album of Second-Wave imitation from this Italian act who are working their debut full-length. I like the strong recording that really gives the bottom end some oomph, not wallowing in the waspy "basement" style of production. That said, the guitar sound is too smooth, and needs a lot more bite. The riffs are decent tremolo picking, and the drums are actually pretty solid, with a nice loud, live sound. This band shows some promise in the songwriting department, and they may evolve into a good band someday. For now, this is adequate. |
