Tenses Collide is the second full-length album of old school-flavored Thrash from Slovenia's Eruption. Eruption gets high marks for their no frills, fiery riffing and petulant, sometimes barely under control, vocals. The production is clean and sharp and I'm reminded of a cross between Sweden's Wolf and Australia's Elm Street, with a Thrash bent. I can't say you've never heard this before but Eruption will kick your ass, regardless. Not essential, but damn fun. |
