Spain is different and Spain rules. Many Spanish bands, like Graveyard, Morbid Flesh, etc., understand what it takes to make sweet-sounding blackened Thrash/Death Metal that is addictive right from the beginning. Spanish combo Insulters features Blasphemic Vomitor on vocals, Bourbon Devastator on guitar, Nuclear Cummer on bass and Clito Sodomizer on drums (ha-ha! Gotta love those names). These brutes have obviously sworn to bring only the most malicious and flesh-ripping Death Metal to all of you. We Are the Plague is the band's debut full-length studio album and it's very much a continuation from their previous demo releases. The guys have their own Black/Thrash/Death Metal thing, but also follow musical traces left by the likes of Death, Impaled Nazarene, Sodom, Venom, Aura Noir and a few others. This is blackened Thrash/Death Metal done right; old school, powerful, relentless and bullshit-free. It's way more enjoyable than Cronos, with all of his leather costumes from Venom, and more destructive and lethal than a stick of dynamite in your mouth. Need I say more? |
