Modern Thrash Metal isn't really my cup of tea. It's the "core" vocals that turn me off. Unfortunately, that's the case with Dutch thrashers Neckbreak Nation. Even though their music flows nicely and is well done, with some technical finesse, it's the irritating vocals that crawl to the surface, on the top of everything else, and steal the whole show. With a less core-influenced vocal delivery, Neckbreak Nation might offer a pleasing couple hours of music but the vocals really ruined it for me. I don't see any point in wasting time with something that leaves my dick limp, soft so to speak. Good luck to the guys in Neckbreak Nation, though. |
