This is the second disc from Aussie band Eskhaton. They play a blasting, rather relentless style of Blackened Death Metal, with nonstop speed, chaotic guitar flailing, and a dark, oppressive atmosphere. Sadly, atmosphere and aggression cannot sail them past their lack of real riffs or songwriting ability, this disc is pretty much just a blur of noise with every song more or less the same as all the others. Skip it. |
