Hammond-driven 70's and 80's Heavy Metal and Heavy Rock should get some appreciation from everyone, I believe. This is the sound Mad Hatter's Den, a 5-piece band from Finland, has adopted.

Mad Hatter's Den has gone back in time to explore what's really important and found a formula that makes us hum their songs in the name of pure, honest Heavy Metal/Rock. They play the classic sounds of Heavy Metal with such conviction that it's easy to throw some Dio-esque horns high in the air and just enjoy hard-hitting riffs, great, emotional vocals, catchy choruses, Hammond-infested melodies and such. Mad Hatter's Den makes it all sound good and, at times, they sound similar to Finnish Metal veterans Tarot, minus the vocals.

This is a classic combination of some of the best sides of Heavy Metal and Heavy Rock and, undoubtedly, Welcome to the Den will find many fans all over the Metal world.
