So, who is behind this sadistic and punk-sounding Italian underground act Necromutilator? Hmmm, let's see; devil's chainsaws and hell vomits by P, hammer beating hellfire by R and pulsating vibes of annihilation by E. Got it? Good, me too.

Eucharistic Mutilations, a 9-track album from this Italian trio-with-attitude, is a pretty fun listen actually. Necromutilator has been around since the end 2009, spreading bestial havoc ever since. They sort of remind me of the first couple of albums from both Venom and Bathory in terms of rawness, plus the beauty and darkness of LA's Death Metal horde Sadistic Intent. In other words, it's a good combination of true underground extreme Metal/Punk power and relatively enjoyable if you put aside technical finesse as Necromutilator don't have any. The cover of Bathory's "13 Candles" sounds recognizable and won't offend Mr. Quorthon (R.I.P.) or anyone else for that matter. The album sounds as if it was recorded live, which would not surprise me given how raw Necromutilator's debut is. Be warned if you are expecting a quality production.

Eucharistic Mutilations oozes pure hellish and unpolished underground Death/Black Metal (with a pleasing Punk-vibe) so, if you are a sucker for this particular genre, then you have a new friend in Necromutilator. ;o)
