Whenever an album starts off with a sound clip ripped from some adult-orientated film, it really isn't a bad thing, is it? "Bordello Blues" is the name of the intro on the debut album from Hungary's Drünken Bastards. Posercrusher sees this bunch of wacko, testosterone-driven Hungarians maniacs go crazy with a mix of Punk, Rock'n'Roll and Thrash Metal.

On Posercrusher you get served up songs titles like "Posercrusher," "Alcoholic Big Tits," "Drink with Satan!," etc. so you know with just a quick glimpse that there's nothing to be taken too seriously. Musically there's some Venom, some early Carnivore, the Punk-era Onslaught and UK's Warfare in the songs. They sound rough and harsh, ooze some serious 'fuck-you-all' attitude and smell of leather, Metal, spikes and sweat. In a way they are funny indeed and seeing them live is probably even more fun both for your eyes and ears, but I honestly don't care to hear them on disc. Drünken Bastards are like a completely worn-out pair of pants; it's not fun any more if your hairy balls fall out of them all the time. It simply does not feel good, you know?

If you care for this type of raw, Punk-influenced Thrash'n'Roll then by all means check them out.
