It is not very often one comes across a Metal band from Romania even if there aren’t any places in this world where Metal music hasn’t invaded. Even a sunny and hellishly warn country like Jamaica has a small yet vivid underground Metal scene as I found out this year when I made a short excursion there. Death Nöize comes from Transylvania and Conquest War Famine Death, which is the band’s debut studio album, contains nine songs of Crust-infested blackened Thrash as some bands label their stuff nowadays. Honestly, I don’t know whether I should laugh or cry but Death Nöize’s amateur and terribly produced debut is pretty much a pain in the butt to listen to. They sound like a bunch of 7-10 year old kids who have just discovered Metal music for the first time then decided to play together and make the vilest and most evil sounding shit on the face of the Earth. What they should do first, in order to get somewhere, is to learn how to play their goddamn instruments and how to make a proper sounding song. The band’s drummer sounds like shit, missing beats here and there, and the vocalist is like a 2-cent clone of Abbath from Immortal. I am struggling to find anything positive to say about this band. Next, please... |
