Lord Demogorgon (who is also in Black Shadow) has a mission; H.E.W.D.A.T. That is the name of this project band, the letters standing for six names of chaos. After recording six albums, each containing six tracks, H.E.W.D.A.T. will be over.

Blackest Empire of Satan is album number one and was originally released by the small, now-defunct Russian label S.M.B. Records in 2006. Nine years later More Hate Productions decided to reissue the album and I am glad they did because the original is pretty hard to track down these days.

Lord Demogorgon played all the instruments himself and also did the drum programming. H.E.W.D.A.T. is entirely his project and offers an aural assault of extremely violent, aggressive and satanic Black Metal in the vein of Sweden's Black Metal horde Dark Funeral with occasional rocking elements (like in "Death to the Bastards"). For the most part it's Dark Funeral's name that pops up constantly. I am positive Mr. Demogorgon has some respect for those semi-legendary apprentices of Satan.

If you dig Dark Funeral you'll undoubtedly dig the hell out of H.E.W.D.A.T. Musically, they are so close that H.E.W.D.A.T. could easily be mistaken for Dark Funeral. Start calling the name of thy master of Satan now...
