Black/Death Metal horde Unblessed is one of the most respected acts in the Chilean underground extreme Metal scene due to their musical achievements thus far. I can clearly understand why that is so; Unblessed perform some nasty, twisted and evil old-school blackened Death Metal that is like a mixture of early Possessed and Severance (TX, USA). What I like about Unblessed, besides mixing a couple of very cool bands, is that they still sound pretty original and unique in their own twisted way. The use of unexpected, unorthodox tempo changes is not common among Chilean extreme underground bands and it's Unblessed's trademark.

Unblessed is a pretty amazing and effective record, full of flesh-ripping riffs accompanied by the deranged and demonic vocals of Paul Callahan and the merciless drum rolls of Carlos Ramírez. Together these things create a violent and murderous whole. The lads in Unblessed are dangerous people as far as the album's content is concerned anyway. Check them out but remember to be cautious when doing so, okay?
