Seriously, Massacre, you used to be cool. Now you're pedaling shit like this? Here we have the third album from French female-fronted metallers Asylum Pyre, who are supposed to play Progressive Power Metal but in reality offer only hints of that; what they're more interested in is overly-emotional whiny garbage like Spirited Away. It's like Evanescence covering Triosphere, for fuck's sake, and badly at that. And what's with this guitar tone? Why is it so dirty? Are we trying to be hardcore here, guys? I mean, I'm just throwing my hands up in the air now and giving up the ghost. At least The Murder of My Sweet have top notch production and a pretty lady on the cover. |
