Isenmor is a relatively new band from Baltimore, MD whose chosen style is Pagan Metal complete with violins and mandolins that give their music an ancient feel. There are some decent riffs and the Black vocals are effective but I find the violins repetitive in their progressions and the vocal lines for the clean singing range from dull to lamentably bad. There's promise on their debut EP Land of the Setting Sun, so I hope these guys keep honing their skills but there are too many flaws to overlook right now. |
