Canada's Droid has been banging around for a few years, with their EP Disconnected being the most recent effort. Late 80s Thrash is the style with a bit of the technical song structures and playing that implies. The vocals are an angry shout, not unlike some of the Crossover bands of that era. There's energy and attitude to spare but the sneering vocals are a turn off. There's nothing here you haven't heard many times before, but this is a young band so we'll have to see if they can progress from here. The logo is pretty cool, so they've got that going for them. |
