Black/Thrash is surprisingly hard to get right. You need riffs, and attitude, and the right kind of raw recording and manic intensity. If you don't have all those things, you'll get a weak recording. If you have them all, then you can get a gleeful slab of metal viciousness, as Bewitcher have conjured up here. This band is pretty much like "MotorVenomHammer" with simplistic but balls-out riffs, a lot of energy and bad attitude, and feral, aggressive playing that keeps the pedal to the metal the whole way. These guys are not doing anything that hasn't been done, but they are just killing it. Fans of Desaster, Sauron, or old Temple of Baal will not go wrong with this evil little blast of fun. |
