I reviewed one of Abysmal Lord's albums a couple of years though I'll be damned if I can remember any of it – not as much a fault of the album as that of having so much music to check out. What I said of the previous album can mostly apply to Disciples of the Inferno, though I find the latter is hurt by the recording being too low and kind of muffled. Overdid the lo-fi there, eh guys? That hurts the listening experience a little, though your mileage may vary. That aside, yes, this is low-fi, raw, fast, barebones Black/Thrash that takes no prisoners and will earn you some bewildered looks if you're blasting it in your car. The vocals are vile rasps that will turn off wimps within hearing distance (and then some). It's not pretty and it's not meant to be. Not particularly original, but if you can't get enough of this stuff, this should do the trick for you.
