Justified for Blood is a 2-song "single" from Finland's Oppressive, consisting of "No Winner, No Victory" and the title track. Thrashy Death Metal is what Oppressive offer and if these songs are any indication, a full-length from these Finns is something to look forward to. Crisp guitar work with entertaining lead work and angry shouted vocals are nothing new but are well executed here. It's a small sample size but if Oppressive can keep up this level of songwriting across a whole album they should get heads banging. |
