Debut for this Russian band, and it sounds a lot like old Krisiun, to be honest. I expected something more like Behemoth or other Slavic extreme bands, but this really reminds me of stuff like Black Force Domain. The recording is underground and has a lot of low-end, the guitars wring out some really cool riffs, and there's not really either a sound of Scandinavian melody or US technicality in it. If you like dirty, gnarly Death metal, then check this out. It's not amazing, but it's a good time. |
