This is a nicely grimy slab of Black Metal from Poland. Sodality have a riffier, sludgier style than the usual tremolo attack, and the vocals are definitely going for that Attila Csihar grunt and groan style. The songs have a lot of variety, but they often seem to switch gears for no real reason, and as such the compositions are kind of shapeless. I enjoy this, but it's not first-rate.
