This is some pretty decent Death Metal from Austria. If you don't like hyperspeed, blast-beat fests in your Death metal, then this might be for you. These guys play it old school with a touch of modern, and for the most part the music is mid-paced, when not downright slow. Lots of melody, the kind of stuff that tends to stick in your head – quite a bit of that here, though some Death Metal aficionados may find that Zombie Inc. mellow things down a bit too much at times. Unsurprisingly you'll find some horror-style samplings in there, though it's nowhere near abuse territory, so it never gets a chance to get old. The vocals are somewhat decipherable growls that get the job done; nothing more, nothing less and they're a good fit for the pace of the music. A Dreadful Decease is sober, old school-ish Death Metal done well, even though it's overall a bit uneventful. Thrashy, melodic, catchy. You've got to find something you like in here. |
