Ravensire are a Portugese band, but they sound very Greek, working that riffy, crunchy stripe of True Metal that owes a lot to bands like Battleroar and Doomsword. The vocals on here are much more in the rugged Ironsword mode however, and the whole makes for a headbanging good time. You get four originals and one cover song from long-defunct Portuguese band Wild Shadow. I can't give this band any points for originality, but if you love underground True Metal like Battle Ram, then you should check this the fuck out. |
